CULTIVATING COMMUNITY UNITY
Hello from the
Palm Springs Psychedelic Society!!
We have had a busy year reaching out to the Community with informative gatherings about psychedelic medicine,
Decriminalize Nature - Palm Springs, and discussions encompassing culture, spirituality, and healing!
A few of our activities included:
In December 2025, we were so glad to present an Afternoon
with Heather A. Lee, LCSW, Psilocybin Guide and Psychedelic Therapist.
Heather shared her new documentary, Last Journey, a soulful and moving film which follows Lisa through the final moments of her life. "Last Journey is a powerful testament to the strength, resilience, and inner wisdom of women and to the profound potential of psilocybin to bring relief, meaning, and beauty in life's most vulnerable moments."
To see a clip of Heather Lee with Lisa Ling on CBS Mornings, follow this link:

In January 2025 we hosted
A Community Conversation About Psychedelic Medicine. A Panel Discussion with Healthcare Providers.
In March 2026 we were thrilled to present
#1 NYT Best-selling author
Susannah Cahalan on The Acid Queen: The Psychedelic Life and Counterculture Rebellion of Rosemary Woodruff Leary.
"The untold story of the woman who played a critical role in bringing psychedelics into the mainstream -- until her audacious exploits forced her into the shadows."
Her other best-selling books include
Brain on Fire, and The Pretender.
And...
On May 9, 2026 we presented
Joe Tafur, MD, author of Fellowship of the River: A Medical Doctor's Exploration into Traditional Amazonian Plant Medicine, and Medicine Song: Spiritual Healing and the Psychedelic Renaissance.
An integrative physician and curandero, Dr. Tafur will shared his insight, experience, and stories as a healer with 25+ years experience.
Please share with others and help us spread the word.
Thank you for joining us,
and let's continue to "Find the Others."
With gratitude, PSPS
