Letter to our Community on 11/16/25:

Hello from the Palm Springs Psychedelic Society!!

We have several confirmed events in the next few months which are open to the entire community!
Please join us and learn more about psychedelic medicine, culture, and healing!

Saturday, December 13, 2025, 12-2 pm at the Mizell Center in Palm Springs:

An Afternoon with Heather A. Lee, LCSW, Psilocybin Guide and Psychedelic Therapist.
Heather will share her new documentary, Last Journey, a soulful and moving 30 minute film which follows Lisa through the final moments of her life.  "Last Journey is a powerful testament to the strength, resilience, and inner wisdom of women and to the profound potential of psilocybin to bring relief, meaning, and beauty in life's most vulnerable moments.  Join us for an inspired Q&A after the film to explore the benefits of psilocybin in cancer and end of life care with Heather Lee.

If you're in healthcare, if you have family with health challenges or have personally experienced challenges, if you're curious about psilocybin therapy and want to learn more, this is for you!

To reserve a space, and to see a clip of Heather Lee with Lisa Ling on CBS Mornings, follow this link:

Saturday, January 24, 2026, 1-3 pm at the Mizell Center:

A Community Conversation About Psychedelic Medicine.  A Panel Discussion with Healthcare Providers.
Do you have questions about psychedelic medicine? Please join us in this community gathering!

Saturday, March 14, 2026, 1-3 at the Mizell Center:

#1 NYT Best-selling author Susannah Cahalan on The Acid Queen:  The Psychedelic Life and Counterculture Rebellion of Rosemary Woodruff Leary.
"The untold story of the woman who played a critical role in bringing psychedelics into the mainstream -- until her audacious exploits forced her into the shadows."
Other best-selling books include Brain on Fire, and The Pretender.
This is one of those opportunities you don't want to miss!

And...

Saturday, May 9, 2026, 1-3 pm at Mizell:

Joseph Tafur, MD, author of Fellowship of the River: A Medical Doctor's Exploration into Traditional Amazonian Plant Medicine, and Medicine Song: Spiritual Healing and the Psychedelic Renaissance.
An integrative physician and curandero, Dr. Tafur will share his insight, experience, and stories as a healer with 30+ years experience.
Not. To. Be. Missed.

Please share with others and help us spread the word.

The flyers for Heather Lee are attached below.  Please share with friends, family, patients, and on social media, all of which will support our Society.

And thank you for helping us "Find the Others."

With gratitude, PSPS
