Mission of The Society

Our mission is to foster a safe, ethical, and intentional psychedelic-informed community that integrates clinical wisdom, public education, transformative dialogue, and responsible advocacy.  Through inclusive community-building, professional development, risk reduction, and collaborative engagement, we seek to support personal and collective growth while advancing compassionate, evidence-informed, and culturally aware approaches to psychedelic education, integration,
and social change.

The Palm Springs Psychedelic Society is dedicated to fostering collaboration and education among healthcare professionals and our community to advance the safe, ethical, and evidence-based integration of psychedelic therapies.

We are a collaborative with the
Community Health Initiative - Coachella Valley
and Decriminalize Nature - Palm Springs.

If you're interested in collaborative learning,

What are the benefits of networking?

Our clients have questions about psychedelic medicines, and so do many healthcare providers.
Probably everyone you know has either used psychedelics or knows someone who has.  Perhaps you've seen or read  Michael Pollan's How to Change Your Mind, and Paul Stamets in Fantastic Fungi, and you've read Huxley's The Doors of Perception and Hoffman's LSD: My Problem Child.
Research is happening around the world at major universities and research institutions.
fMRI brain scans evidence new neural connections and brain cell growth after one "journey."

Research has illuminated potential life changing benefits for depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction disorders, eating disorders, chronic pain, migraines, and so much more.

Legislation is changing as reflected in Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, and
many other cities across our country.
Decriminalizing and legalizing psychedelics are on our ballots.  The government is acknowledging the importance of research and psychedelic medicine.

Several other countries have decriminalized psychedelics, including The Netherlands, Australia, Jamaica, The Bahamas, Brazil, and Portugal.

Let's review, share, and apply the evidence-based research and best practice protocols to help us better understand potential benefits of psychedelic medicine and how to more effectively provide guidance and care to our patients and one another.
